In 1997, Countrywide established a long-term relationship with our nonprofit partner, Rebuilding Together. As a national
sponsor, our contributions support both the national Rebuilding Together organization
and selected projects in many communities to ensure that seniors and low-income
individuals and families are living in safe and sound environments. Since 1997, Countrywide has donated $10 million and completed 475 projects. In 2007 alone, 1,172 associates, family members and business partners volunteered 10,000 hours of service on 136 houses and nonprofit facilities. |

affected by hurricanes in the Gulf Coast region. Countrywide is the lead
sponsor of Rebuilding Together's Rebuild 1000 initiative, committing $1 million
toward their goal of $4 million to repair hurricane-damaged homes.
