In 1997, Countrywide established a long term relationship with our key strategic nonprofit partner, Rebuilding Together. As a national
sponsor, our contributions support both the national Rebuilding Together organization
and selected projects in communities where thousands of Countrywide employees, family
members and business partners devote thousands of hours of volunteer labor on home
renovations each year to ensure that seniors, physically challenged and low-income
individuals are living in sound environments.
Since 1997, Countrywide has donated $10 million and seen 475 projects completed. In 2007 alone, nearly 1,172 employees, family members and business partners dedicated more than 10,000 hours of volunteer service on 136 houses and nonprofit facilities. |

Rebuilding with Countrywide
Thousands of homes and lives have been devastated by the hurricanes of 2005.
Rebuilding with Countrywide is our commitment to help individuals and families
affected by recent hurricanes in the Gulf Coast region. Countrywide is the lead
sponsor of Rebuilding Together's Rebuild 1000 initiative, committing $1 million
toward their goal of $4 million to repair hurricane-damaged homes. This commitment
includes $500,000 in matching funds to encourage others to donate to this
worthy cause.
